What is English & Maths additional support?

Many students enrol on courses on which they can succeed but worry about whether they can handle the Maths and English.  The Learning Workshop delivers the extra Maths and English support that the College provides to help a student succeed on his/her course.

When a student starts their course they will be required to take an assessment of both Maths and English.  If this identifies the student as needing help, it will be compulsory that the student has additional help until they reach the required level.  Alternatively the student can be referred by their tutor if they feel the student needs support to succeed on the course.

Whatever the circumstances, if a tutor or student feels the need for support then provision is available.
