Help Logging In

During your time at Kirklees College Huddersfield Centre, you will be required to log into the college computers and online services such as our Moodle Virtual Learning Environment (VLE), Portal, Email and personal storage area (H: Drive). 

Logging into a College computer system, the VLE (Moodle) or Portal

Login details are the same for college computers, the VLE and Portal.

Please select below to resolve your login problem:

Your login details consist of:

Username Your enrolment number e.g. 0123456
Password When entering your password for the first time, please enter your date-of birth in the format DDMMYY e.g. 010191

It is recommended that you change your password once you have successfully logged in. This will ensure your account remains secure. To find out how to change your password see the section “I know my username and password but still can't log in”.
Once you have changed your password, please continue to use the new password the next time you log into the computer, VLE or Moodle and not your date-of-birth.

Click the “I’ve forgotten my password” link below. You will then be asked to enter your place of birth and mother’s maiden name (for security reasons) before entering a new password. Use your new password to log into the computer, VLE (Moodle) and Portal systems.

Try changing your password by clicking the “Change my password” link below. You will then be asked to enter a new password. Use your new password to log into the computer, VLE (Moodle) and Portal systems. If you still cannot log in, please phone I.T. Support Services (ITSS) on 01484 437016 (ext. 7016).

Log into your email using your username and password (see “I am a student and have never logged in before. I don’t know what to do” for more information).
Your email password will remain your date-of-birth ( DDMMYY e.g. 010191 ) even if you have changed your computer / VLE / Portal password.
